Symbol of strength and determination, the tea tree belongs to the cultural-magic world of Australian Aborigines. It was discovered by Captain Cook during his journeys to the Southern Hemisphere.
Tea Tree is synonymous with protection and purification. It works best on people who count too much on the support of others, or that are in a state of subjection. Thanks to the clarifying energy it instills, the tea tree allows us to break the status quo, reacting to events and imagining new possibilities.
It is a real mind booster.
It comes from New South Wales, in southern Australia. Both its leaves and small branches are steam-distilled.
It has a fresh, balsam aroma, with a note of camphor.

Tea Tree

Powerful antibacterial, it is used to treat a great variety of infections.
It works on acne, pimples, warts and verrucas; it fights skin parasites, cold sores, stomatitis, and abscesses. Apply in case of burns and bug bites.
Recommended for intestinal and genital infections.

Suggested uses and dosage:

  • Home diffuser: add 2-3 drops to 100 ml of water
  • Bathtub: emulsify 8-10 drops of essential oil with coarse salt — or alternatively milk, cream, or honey — to add to the hot water (so that the oil doesn’t evaporate due to the heat)
    Massages: dilute 3-5 drops of essential oil in a tablespoon of carrier oil
  • Foot bath: we recommend to emulsify 2-3 drops with coarse salt in a basin full of water (or in a shallow tub of water), where you will immerse your feet.
  • Cosmetics: add 2-4 drops of essential oil to one tablespoon of natural moisturizer. It can be used undiluted on the skin, 1-2 drops on the affected area.

Caution: use with moderation, although it is completely non-toxic. Do not use in case of chronic diseases, pregnancy, or when breastfeeding.
