This essential oil, symbol of authenticity and frankness, has a warm as well as refreshing character.
It is obtained by steam-distilling the leaves and small lemon fruits.

It fights stress, depression, anxiety, insomnia. It has a calming effect and is useful in case of difficult digestion. It is also an anti-inflammatory for muscles. If diffused, it fights pollution. It is also used in perfumery.
It comes from Sicily.

Petit Grain Citronnier

On the skin, it is recommended to fight acne, pimples, eczema, and itch in general.
If inhaled, it is useful for airways infections. If massaged on the back, it calms asthma attacks.

Suggested uses and dosage:

  • Home diffuser: add 3-6 drops to 100 ml of water. We suggest to use it together with other essential oils.
  • Bathtub: emulsify 8-10 drops of essential oil with coarse salt — or alternatively milk, cream, or honey — to add to the hot water (so that the oil doesn’t evaporate due to the heat)

Caution: do not use in case of chronic diseases, pregnancy, or when breastfeeding.
