It is one of the most ancient plants on earth. Fossil forms have been found, dating back to 40 million years ago. Also, some 1500 BC clay tablets from Pylos (in the Peloponnese, Greece) mention the purchase of rose oil.
The essential oil restores balance to the autonomic nervous system. It is useful to fight sadness, depression, fatigue, and sorrow.
This precious essence comes from Bulgaria. Its petals are steam-distilled.
Its aroma is sublime, words cannot describe it.

Damask Rose

It is one of the most used essences to treat female reproductive system diseases and skin pathologies. It helps wounds healing.
The rose essential oil is an aphrodisiac, and helps relieve frigidity and impotence.

Suggested uses:

  • Home diffuser: add between 2 and 4 drops to 100 ml of water
  • Bathtub: emulsify 8-10 drops of essential oil with coarse salt — or alternatively milk, cream, or honey — to add to the hot water (so that the oil doesn’t evaporate due to the heat)
  • Massages: we recommend to dilute 3-5 drops of essential oil in a tablespoon of carrier oil
  • Cosmetics: add 3-5 drops of essential oil to one tablespoon of natural moisturizer
  • Food: we recommend 1-2 drops per 100 gr of food, to add after cooking as a flavoring (we suggest to always start with the lower dose and then increase it later, if preferred).

Caution: do not use in case of chronic diseases, pregnancy, or when breastfeeding.
