Description
The Essential Oil of Himalayan Fir (Abies Spectabilis) is a symbol of vigor and spiritual elevation, it is native from Nepal where it lives between 2,300 and 3,600 meters above sea level.
The trunk of the plant can reach sixty meters in height and perhaps this is also why it is used in the art of Bonsai.
They are Essential Oils that take time to act and therefore they must be used in the medium and long term.
It is used as a bridge between essential oils, so it is highly recommended when creating synergistic blends.
In aromatherapy it is considered an excellent stimulant of blood circulation. It finds a valid use in cases of arthritis, arthrosis and muscle pain. Apply the Himalayan fir to the affected areas using a carrier oil.
In aromatherapy, the fundamental property of the Himalayan Fir is to relieve lung ailments. Its balsamic scent is a panacea in case of colds, flu, cough, sinusitis, laryngitis and bronchitis. Used in fumigations it is an excellent expectorant.
Thanks to its purifying effect, it is recommended for use in rooms with stagnant and smoky air with an ultrasonic diffuser.
Suggested uses:
- Room diffuser: 6/7 drops in 100 ml of water.
- Fumigations: 3/4 drops of essential oil emulsified in coarse salt in 1 liter of hot water for 20 minutes. Keep your eyes and mouth closed.
- Bathtub: 8/10 drops of essential oil emulsified in coarse salt, milk, cream, or honey in hot water (to prevent the oil from evaporating due to the heat).
- Massages: we recommend diluting 2/3 drops of essential oil in a spoonful of carrier oil.
