A simple recipe by Santa Bianca, perfect for winter.
Total time:120 minutes
- 250 gr chickpeas (previously soaked in cold water for 12 hours)
- Bay leaves
- Baking soda
- Ground pepper (green, black, or pink peppercorns, as preferred)
- Parmesan cheese
- Helichrysum essential oil
Boil the chickpeas for a couple of hours in salted water, a pinch of baking soda and the bay leaves.
Then run the cooked chickpeas through a food mill or blend them.
Add parmesan cheese, pepper and 1-2 drops of helichrysum essential oil diluted in olive oil.
